Manuscript Boy just published his thoughts on the Da Vinci Code and related literature. They reminded me that I've been meaning to relate to the phenomenon (and there is no other word for it) for a long time. It's an especially personal thing for me, because I've been following the story for almost a quarter of a century (long before most people had heard of the Prieure de Sion).
