In the upcoming US Presidential elections, I support John McCain and Sara Palin. I think that Barack Obama is too untried, inexperienced and short on subtance to guide the United States and the Free World as it enters a period of financial paroxysms and war on Global Jihad.
However, in light of the comments that my posting of Jesse Jackson's remarks about Obama, I have decided to remove it.
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteHave we suddenly decided that Jesse Jackson is a reliable source? He has no connection to the Obama campaign, and in fact has said that he wanted to cut Obama's b*lls off. Do you know of any evidence here that his take on things has any validity to it? If so, I'm listening; please post it!
Otherwise this post generates the impression that his words garnered your approval simply because he told you what you want to hear, or what you have already concluded to be true. Which is perfectly fine if you want to operate that way. But it ain't exactly convincing for the rest of us.
Tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are. (Sometimes, the meshuga'im say it as it really is.)
ReplyDeleteJackson's remarks merely confirm other clear indications of Obama's beliefs. 1) He committed himself to a Chicago friend that he would redress the plight of the Palestinians. 2) His Middle East advisors are all drawn from the Radical Left.
Ibama is not qualified to lead a stumbling super-power in the most dangerous era in hitory, since World War II. I trust Senator Lieberman's judgement implicitly, both on domestic and foreign issues.
Without commenting on Obabma and/or his likely positions regarding the Mideast, I note that according to http://www.jta.org/cgi-bin/iowa/news/article/20081015obamajackson.html, the author of the NY Post article has a controversial past, and Jackson has distanced himself from the remarks attributed to him by the reporter.
ReplyDeleteJeff,
ReplyDeleteObama's top advisors on the Middle East are Dennis Ross and Daniel Kurtzer. If you think that they are anti-Israel, so be it. Robert O'Malley has probably never met Obama in his life. Zbigniew Brzezinski is not an official advisor to Obama, and by the way, he was very on target regarding the fiasco the Iraq War turned out to be. Jesse Jackson opposed Obama and was a supporter of Clinton. He was even caught saying some not so nice things about Obama when he didn't realize that a microphone was on, see here. As to the journalist in question, he is a known fabricator, see here. John McCain has consulted and even once said that he would send James Baker to the Middle East as a special envoy if he was elected. Is Baker such a lover of Israel?
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteAnother McCain friend. His appointment to be head of his presidential transition team lobbied on behalf of Saddam Hussein. What great friends.
Gotta keep abortion legal...
ReplyDeleteI see the orthodox Jewish community are very smart voters. They are not fooled by the general drive by media into being duped that Obama is the messiah. The friends and mentors of Obama are so racist and antisemitic that only a blind fool would vote for him. For 20 years he hung around Rev. Wright and had to be pulled kicking and screaming to distance himself. This is not a man to be trusted in such dangerous times for America as well as Israel.
ReplyDeleteJeff,
ReplyDeleteI don't see why you took the post down. As a supporter of Obama, I have absolutely no problem with someone opposing him because they disagree with his stated policy. What I do think is ridiculous is to oppose him because of mostly untruthful claims about who his friends or policy advisors are. Moadim LeSimcha.
