In the spirit of the day, I wonder what role R. Yochanan B. Zakai really played in all the Vitellus v. Vespasian intrigue. Was RYBZ really that far apart politically from TJA? Maybe RYBZ was just like the religious Oz Veshalom folks who probably agree with every word on that Shalom Achshav flyer?
