I had the privilege of being invited to Limmud 2010 at the University of Warwick (UK). It was a breathtaking, refreshing experience. Imaging, 2500 people from around the world who gathered together to study Jewish things, and all of it לשמה! In addition, I got to deliver a paper to a wonderful group of colleagues under the aegis of the London School of Jewish Studies. Part of the payoff was a trip with two friends to Warwick Castle and a chance to become friends with that gifted caricaturist, Shai Charka (creator of Baba!).
