Apologies Are in Order

Yesterday, I wrote a reaction to a posting by Lisa at On the Face. As she pointed out in her comment, I misunderstood her intent and (clearly) insulted her to boot. I sincerely apologize for having done both. [I"ve removed the offending post.]

In the future, as in non-virtual life, I will make sure to wait before reacting.

you know, waiting before reacting is probably another religious virtue that hairdresser has taken up. don't know about posting comments on Saturdays, though...

Please note that I live in Israel and my post was an hour after Shabbat ended.

OTOH, I once knew someone who never wrote a check with a Saturday date, lest someone think it was written on Shabbat. Something to think about...

actually, I was referring to my own comment, which was definitely posted during shabbat here in California. Sorry to imply otherwise!
