He is a bit over wrought. However, there is lots of scholarly evidence for the demographics that he describes. The reaklity on the ground is, in any event, absolutely accurate. Europe (as Bat Yeor, Melanie Phillips, Daniel Pipes, Martin Kramer and others) is rolling over and dying.
If Obama keeps it up, America will find itself fighting alone (if it indeed decides to fight for its life).
Frankly, although I agree that radical Islam is a threat, and could bring about much death and destruction, I think Bat Ye'or and Melanie Phillips are wrong about the danger of Europe being "overrun" by Muslims. Churchill was asked why, as much as he hated Communism, was willing to cooperate with Stalin in fighting Nazi Germany stated that both systems were equally evil, but Communism was inherently self-destructive and would eventually pass from the world, since it declared war on its own people. He predicted around 1950 that Communism would collapse in about 40 years (!). I think political Islamism is even more self-destructive than Communism. Communism at least seemed to offer a path to national development (although it turns out that this wasn't true). Political Islam offers NOTHING in this regards. It is a dead end. The people in Iran are already aware of this but they don't have the power to do anything about it. Israel is pulling further and further ahead of the Arab world socially and economically. Time is working on our side (as much as the "progressives" deny this fact). Regarding Europe, I have no real sympathy for them, we all remember with they did to us. Their punishment is that they are withering away. This does not mean however, that the Muslims are going to take over these societies and then use the technology to take over the rest of the world. This can't happen. They would destroy Europe from within long before they would "take it over". They would introduce all the corruption, cronyism and inefficiency and the other degenerate values they bring from the old country to their new homes. However, as much as I don't like Europe, I believe that some sort of survival instinct will kick in, birth rates will rise once again and the negative influences the Muslim immigrants are brining will be checked. We'll see.
